1. What SigmaSignal is

SigmaSignal is a decision-support tool for investment clubs and individual investors. It combines a quality/valuation scoring model with the BetterInvesting SSG (Stock Selection Guide) framework to generate BUY/HOLD/SELL-style signals from publicly available market data.

2. Not financial advice

SigmaSignal is not a registered investment adviser and does not provide personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. The signals, scores, and narratives it generates are automated outputs of a rules-based model, intended to support your own research and discussion — not to replace your judgment or a licensed professional's advice. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make.

3. Data accuracy

Market data is sourced from Yahoo Finance via the yfinance library and may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally incorrect. SigmaSignal makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or signal presented.

4. Accounts

You may create a free account to save your portfolio and watch list across sessions. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Each account gets a daily usage budget on analysis requests to keep the service available for everyone; exceeding it does not entitle you to a refund or credit (the service has no paid tier at this time).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the service at scale, or otherwise place excessive load on it;
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data;
• Reverse-engineer or resell the service's outputs as your own product.

6. Third-party integrations

The optional Charles Schwab account connection is read-only (positions only) and is gated to pre-approved accounts. SigmaSignal is not affiliated with, and does not warrant any service provided by, Charles Schwab, Yahoo Finance, or BetterInvesting.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SigmaSignal and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including investment losses — arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, or discontinue the service, at any time.

10. Governing law
