SigmaSignal ("the app") is operated by SigmaSignal. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's stored.

What we collect

What we don't do

Market data

Stock and index data is sourced from Yahoo Finance via the yfinance library. This data may be delayed and is cached briefly (10–15 minutes) on our server to reduce load. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not guaranteed to be accurate or current.

The app uses a small number of cookies, all first-party (no third-party tracking or advertising cookies):

Data retention & deletion

Your account data (portfolio, watch list, Schwab connection) is retained until you delete it or ask us to. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email bjnesbitt@capsulr.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
